When the site was optimised and ready to be submitted early last November, I was on holiday and Jeff sent me an email warning me to expect some traffic once the submissions were made. I remember logging on to get my mail a few days later and being astonished to see the message 'downloading mails, 1 of 56'. I was totally unprepared for this flood of enquiries and spent the rest of my holiday frantically trying to answer the barrage of mail from potential clients.

The winter season has been the best we have ever had. In effect the internet site and it's current good rankings have transformed our business as all the clients coming from the site are new and in addition to our existing client base. This means that they are virtually all profit as overheads remain the same and the site and associated fees are tiny in comparison to the sales generated. In its first year, the site has made sales approaching 40% of our total and has allowed me to negotiate a better deal with our contracted Tour Operator as they no longer control all the room sales.
